The Caipiroska cocktail is Brazil’s national cocktail. Prized for its bright, complex flavour, the drink is a perfect party cocktail.
Ingredients
- 30ml simple syrup (or 1 tablespoon granulated white sugar)
- 1 lime, cut into quarters
- 60ml vodka
- Garnish: 4 lime quarters
How To Make
Step 1: Fill a rocks glass with cracked ice to chill, and set aside.
Step 2: Add the simple syrup (or sugar) and lime quarters to a shaker.
Step 3: Muddle to extract the juice without forcing the rind (the outer surface) from the limes.
Step 4: Dump the ice from the rock’s glass into the shaker, add the vodka, and shake until well-chilled.
Step 5: Pour the entire drink, including the ice, into the chilled glass, and garnish with 4 lime quarters.
