TEQUILA COCKTAIL: THE PALOMA

The Paloma is a bright and refreshing tequila cocktail known for its citrusy fizz. Simple to make using local ingredients.

The Paloma Ingredients:

  • 50 ml tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • 60 ml Stoney Tangawizi or fresh grapefruit juice
  • 15 ml honey or sugar syrup (optional)
  • Salt (for rim, optional)
  • Ice

How to make:

Step 1: (Optional) Rim your glass with salt by running a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it in salt.

Step 2: Fill the glass with ice.

Step 3: Add 50 ml tequila and 15 ml fresh lime juice.

Step 4: Top with 60 ml Stoney Tangawizi or freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

Step 5: Add a splash of honey or sugar syrup if you like it sweeter. Stir gently.

Step 6: Garnish with a lime wedge or a slice of grapefruit.
