Singleton 12yrs single malt whisky is matured in a high proportion of American oak casks with a small portion of European oak casks to balance the liquid.
The Singleton 12 Years Dufftown whiskey pours with polished mahogany highlights and deep gold colour. Rich fruit and toasted nut scents are present.
Palate: it exhibits sweetness and notes of crunchy nuts, followed by a rich, smooth fruitiness that is balanced by undertones of creamy coffee, brown sugar, and soft cooked apples. With a graceful drying crispness and delayed lingering warmth, it provides a medium to long finish.
