Aberlour 12 Years is a golden amber Speyside single malt scotch whisky. It has a deep, reddish colour due to the use of new sherry wood. It has a nutty, Christmas-cake flavour as well as a creamy, buttery mouthfeel.
Tasting Notes:
On the nose, it is soft and round with fruity notes of red apple and on the palate, it is sherried, with chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger.
The finish is lingering, sweet, and warm with a little spice.
