Sherry seasoned American oak adds delicate vanilla to the subtle spice of European oak, delivering a whisky with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.
Nose: It has aromas of fruit compote, vanilla bean, toffee, Asian pear, pie crust, Manuka honey and milk chocolate along with just a hint of gunpowder.
Palate: It has more fruits but this time dried with a hint of ginger. Irish breakfast tea, fragrant oak and orange zest are also present.
