Description
35 South Chardonnay is a white wine produced in Chile. The name “35 South” refers to the winery’s location, which is located 35 degrees south of the equator.
This Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in the Casablanca Valley, which is known for its cool climate and excellent growing conditions for Chardonnay. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels for a period of time. This gives it a smooth and creamy texture.
The 35 South Chardonnay has aromas of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, along with hints of vanilla and butter.
On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with flavours of citrus, peach, and apple, as well as a subtle oakiness.
This wine pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes, and is best served chilled at around 50-55°F (10-13°C).
